1. Thirty-nine ECPs (from 10 countries) refitted 422 existing soft contact lens wearing presbyopes into PureVision®2 Presbyopia lenses. Patients returned for follow-up visits after 1-2 weeks. ECP assessment of lens performance including ease of fi t, and patient satisfaction with lenses in real-world conditions, were measured using a 6-point agreement survey.

4. In Study 648, a 21 investigator study across multiple sites May through June 2010, 339 existing Si-Hy wearers were shown a concept card, and asked to complete a short self-completion survey. Consumers were then given either the new version of PureVision or the current offering to use for four weeks, and completed an online survey after seven days. Consumers were not told whether they were trialling the new version or the current design. Investigators then completed a survey about each patient after their 4 week exit visit. Consumer was asked to rate on a 6 point scale the extent to which they agreed or disagreed with each statement.
