Bausch + Lomb has launched the What Woman Want Initiative to support eye care professionals to enhance their customer conversations with their key cohort of patients – with the aim to improve their experience and build loyalty in practice.

Why Women?

  • 64% of contact lens wearers are female1
  • 68% of women have only ever bought their contact lenses in-store1
  • 39% of women who buy lenses in store do so because of good customer service1

Bausch + Lomb commissioned focus group and mystery shopper exercises (led by female patients) to further uncover the practical and emotional drivers for women’s decisions about contact lenses; and help eye care professionals better understand and act on them.

The What Women Want initiative combines Bausch + Lomb’s experience and heritage in eye care with this new insight from independent practices across the UK.
