Introducing Bausch + Lomb’s Cataract Products

Cataract surgery is the most common operation performed in the UK. Each year more than 300,000 people^2^ undergo the procedure whereby the cloudy lens of the eye is replaced with an artificial lens, known as an Intraocular Lens, or IOL.

We’ve created a complete range of innovative solutions that give patients the improved vision they need whilst minimising discomfort. By working closely with leading eye surgeons we’ve developed equipment, including the VICTUS™ Femtosecond Laser Platform, to give surgeons more control and visibility during surgery, whilst reducing complications and generally improving outcomes for patients^3-4^.

Our cataract platform, the Stellaris MICS Vision Enhancement System, is used by many professionals within an operating theatre environment to gain greater control and surgical precision whilst making recovery time shorter^5-6^.

With over 120 years of experience, we are a leader in ophthalmic instrumentation and are proud of our Bausch + Lomb Storz Cataract Instruments line. We also have an extensive portfolio of IOLs, enabling surgeons to select the right lens for their patients.

For more information about specific eye conditions, please take a look at our Eye Concerns section.

You should contact your local optometrist or doctor directly if you have any concerns about your eyes or vision.
