Now, with Bausch + Lomb ULTRA® you can offer your patients a contact lens with an exceptional combination of comfort, vision and health^1^, thanks to our proprietary MoistureSeal™ technology.
Play videoTechnology has revolutionised our lifestyle, and in an age where we spend more time plugged in than powered down, your patients need a lens that will let them embrace the digital age.
Now, with Bausch + Lomb ULTRA you can offer your patients a contact lens with an exceptional combination of comfort, vision and health^1^, thanks to our proprietary MoistureSeal™ technology.
Bausch + Lomb ULTRA features the highest oxygen transmissibility (Dk/t 163) and lowest* modulus (70 g/mm2) compared to the competition^1^.
MoistureSeal™ Technology is a 2-phase process that results in an exceptional combination of Dk/t, low modulus, and high wettability without a plasma treatment8.
Two phase polymerisation process
Phase one creates a flexible silicone matrix from a proprietary combination of long and short chain molecules, resulting in high oxygen transmissibility and low modulus.
Phase two grows PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone), a water-loving polymer, permanently around and through the matrix to attract water, creating a lens surface with high wettability.
